Coach Justin grew up in the world of competitive gymnastics from age 6-13 under the tutelage of Edward Azarian and Xiaoping Li, two former Olympic Medalists and World Champions. After gymnastics, Justin entered into the world of Competitive Cheer and competed for the PACE All-Stars for 3 years; His varsity team won two consecutive National Championships. During this time Justin earned the prestigious Eagle Scout Award after 13 years in Cub and Boy Scouts. After he finished Competitive Cheer, he spent high school and college competing in Spring Board High Diving, culminating in a first place finish at the 2007 California State Championships. That same year, Justin finished up his Aggressive Inline skating career with an 8th place finish at the AIL Skating World Championships in the non-sponsored category. After finishing his degree in Industrial Technology from CSU Los Angeles School of Engineering and Technology, Justin began training in parkour and freerunning as well as performing in trampoline, gymnastics, and stunt shows. Justin has always loved teaching children, which stems from his mother running a day care out of his house while he was growing up. After years of gymnastics training and a lifetime surrounded by children, Justin earned his first coaching position at the young age of 13 and has been coaching in gyms and on pool decks ever since. After 13 years of coaching, Justin grew dissatisfied with the restraints placed upon his teaching in mega sized gymnastics gyms. This led to his goal to open his own training academy that offers classes in any and all types of movement.

Summer is the General Manager here at Firestorm Galaxy. From a young age she has been always involved in a variety of activities to expand her horizons. A good part of her childhood she was an actress for television, movies, commercials, and theater. Throughout her years she has been involved in gymnastics, softball, soccer, archery, rock climbing, dance, golf, aerial silks, aerial lyra, ballet, tennis, horseback riding, paintball, music, and much more. She learned about Firestorm when her studio in Anaheim Hills closed down, was looking for a new place to train, and a new place to call home. Her first Adult Open Gym, she was completely enamored by the staff and feel of the Orange County gym. Never knowing that 3 years later she would be running Firestorm's largest facility.

Nathan's job is to make all of us weirdos at Firestorm look really, really cool. In high school, he presented the idea to his principal of including parkour as a PE class. Ultimately this suggestion was turned down and Nathan pursued his media craft. Fast forward 6 years of  countless days of freelance work, Nathan found Firestorm and his passion was re-awoken. After sending us a cold email he began creating the Firestorm window banners and the rest is history. Nathan now runs Firestorm's social media, updates the website, films and edits all the videos, and creates all the posters and graphic designs. No, we aren't sure if he is human!

Coach Freelove was never one of the Team Sport kind of athletes. Growing up he hopped from extreme sport to extreme sport. He spent time training in water polo, swim and springboard diving in the pool and skateboarding, BMX, dirt biking, and snowboarding on the land. It was through playing with friends on their backyard trampoline that Freelove began to develop a love for flips and spins. This interest in individual movement set his path for a focus on parkour and freerunning as his training sport of choice. Recently, he has begun to rediscover his love of trampolines using the Olympic Aussie bed trampoline and trampwall at Firestorm.

Alyssa's favorite foods are sushi, ramen, and ice cream. Coaching wise she has experience/training in gymnastics, diving, and powerlifting all from professional or previous Olympic athletes. Herr favorite thing about Firestorm overall is the friendly environment and amazing attitude presented by the entirety of the staff!

Samantha is new to the world of Firestorm and excited to learn as much as she can alongside all of the students. She is currently a college student looking to ultimately get her Master’s in Library Sciences, which she hopes to use to spend the rest of her life serving the community (while surrounded by books).  She loves the opportunity she’s been given to be a part of this team and to promote fitness and fun to kids of all ages.

Coach Josh is the Daredevil of Firestorm, in part from his supernatural hearing abilities and his his love to hangout in high, hard to reach spots. Josh likes to cross train in as many sports as possible including rock climbing, strength training, and archery. Josh loves being above ground and you can generally find him up in the scaffolding in the bars section at Firestorm.

Dominic started out as a competitive gymnast at 6 years old where his love for movement began. In high school he went off to join the wrestling team where he was ranked 38th in the state and 1st in riverside county in his weight class by his senior year. Wanting to help others discover what their bodies are truly capable of, Dominic went to Cal State Fullerton where he got a degree in kinesiology so he could follow his dream of becoming the best personal trainer and coach he could be. Along with teaching the tumbling and gymnastics classes at Firestorm, he is also a full time personal trainer who helps anyone achieve their fitness goals.

Kristian Monroy, aka Zeus, has been practicing Silks close to two years. He also have been practicing handblancing for three years. Kristian has a third degree black in Taekwondo and a great love for science and mathematics. His ultimate dream is to become a physics professor.

Cristian Avila coaches parkour and little heroes here at Firestorm Galaxy. He is currently studying at Fullerton College and plans to receive a bachelors in business with a minor in French. Cristian has been training parkour for about 5 years with a background in skating for 4 years, soccer for 3 years, and dance for 2 years and is excited to learn trampoline here at Firestorm. His favorite part of Firestorm Galaxy is the bar over the foam pit because it allows him to attempt so many skills safely with little risk. He's excited to help grow the parkour/acrobatics community in the Inland Empire through Firestorm Galaxy.

Coach Mo is a professional trampwall acrobat as well as a classically trained gymnast of thirteen years. He teaches parkour, tumbling, gymnastics, and trampoline.  His favorite area of the gym is definitely the trampoline and foam pit.  While Mo coaches and help others gain knowledge about movements that interest them, he is currently working to expand his acrobatic and circus portfolio to the stars and back!!

take both my boys here. They love it. The coaches are amazing!!! They are real into safety and make sure all the kids get plenty of water. My oldest has asthma and his coach makes sure he’s good at all times!

My son had the most fun birthday party here. And I had a great time in one of the Ninja Warrior classes learning how freakishly hard all those obstacles are that I’ve seen on TV. The staff are friendly but firm with the kids, ensuring that they enjoy themselves while staying safe. And they are very encouraging.

I brought my almost 5 year old son to parkour class today and he loved it. Coach Gabe is great with the kids and continued to correct their form and tell them they were doing a great job. I love that he would push them to try harder. We are now members.

I’ve been here for half a year now. It’s like an adult Chuck E Cheese. If you want to train like the superheros and move like Assassin’s Creed and do cool flips and s**** then I would come train here.

This is a passionate group of people. I didn’t get a sense of “ego” in this environment, but make no mistake, these are talented people. The feeling of personal growth is strong here. Everyone from parents dropping off their kids to Cirque du Soleil performers can be found here.
